A bibliography is a list of sources (books, journal, periodicals, etc.) used in a research project. Bibliographies are sometimes called “references” or “work cited” depending on the style format you are using. An annotation is a summary and evaluation. Therefore, an annotated bibliography includes the bibliographical reference plus a summary and evaluation for each source. —GUIDE — MLA or APA Citation:_________________________________________________________________ Type of Source: Journal, Newspaper, Magazine, or etc. Side: Help Or Help Summary: What is the point of the article? What topics are covered? What would you say the article is about? If it is a research article, what did they do and what did they discover? Evaluation: How credible is the source? Why? How current is the information? Is the information reliable? Does the author present the information objectively? Is the source biased? What is the goal of the author? If the information present sufficient to support the claims the author is making? Reflection: How is the article useful to your research project? Be specific. You can use bullet points to list key information your group might use. Pull out what could you use this in the project. How does it help shape your argument?
